Beautiful tribute to Anna. I feel that I missed an opportunity to meet someone truly special, but can tell that she touched so many lives. Cancer is an unforgiving disease that touches so many. Sweet Anna did not live an extraordinarily long time, but she did live life extraordinarily. May we all learn to appreciate every day and live life to the fullest. Thank you for sharing your story. Prayers and love to Anna’s family. May her legacy live on in all who had the privilege of knowing her.

I am so moved by your words, Mark. I think you perfectly articulated what so many of us have been thinking. Like you, I believed with all my heart that we could fix Anna through the overwhelming power of prayer. But you are right, none of us is guaranteed a tomorrow and through the experience of watching my friends journey through the horrendous disease that her daughter Anna has been fighting, I am changed forever. I have seen first hand God’s grace by Anna’s strength, which she so obviously inherited from her amazing parents.
