Why Pray at 12:12?
So you are probably wondering why we are asking you to pray for Anna at 12:12? It’s two fold really. First, 12:12 is a direct reference to Romans 12:12, “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” Paul, through his letter to the church in Rome, is telling us what genuine faith looks like, specifically what love looks like from people among those who have genuine faith. It’s a call to love in all circumstances, especially in trials. So we pray at 12:12 as a reminder of our joyful hope in the Lord and His healing power, our patience knowing that God is sovereign and in control even in times of trial, and that collectively we will be unwavering in our commitment to lift up Anna and her cancer to the Lord.
So what’s the second reason? We pray at the same time to show our solidarity. Matthew 18:20 says, “Where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.” We ask for people to pray at the same time as a symbol that we have “come together” in His name.
We are honored to come together with so many others and ask God to move in a big way. Lets live out Romans 12:12 for Anna and “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”

I am asking St. Peregrine (Patron Saint of Cancer Patients) to intercede on your behalf. He has helped me through my cancer journey. Stay strong and know that there is an army of believers storming heaven on your behalf!

you probably don’t remember me at all but I was in the lobby of Oliver’s Sat. May 1. My daughter was there with her friend getting her hair done for prom. Oliver’s wife, Ann, is my mother-in-law. Hi Anna! I came across one of my friends facebook pictures with 1 million for anna. As soon as I saw it I began praying for you, I dont know you but still praying for you at 12:12 every single day. we all love you and stay strong!
